City Council and City Government Sign an Integrity Pact to Ratify the 2026 Draft Regional Budget

Jakarta City Council held a plenary meeting for signing the integrity pact for ratification of the Draft Regional Budget for 2026 Fiscal Year, Monday (8/4).

Khoirudin said that the signing of the integrity pact was not merely ceremonial, but rather a form of joint commitment between the City Council and the Jakarta Provincial Government to maintain integrity and accountability in regional financial management.

He added that the City Council and the Jakarta Provincial Government do not work for image, but for real results in physical development, social services, and strengthening governance.
He also believes that collaboration based on the value of integrity will produce a budget that is not only fiscally disciplined but also socially just.
After the integrity pact signing, the meeting was continued with the submission of the City Council Budget Agency (Banggar) report on the Draft Regional Regulation Changes to the 2025 Fiscal Year City Budget, a request for approval from council members, and the signing of a joint agreement between the Governor and the City Council leadership.
Meanwhile, in his final speech, Governor Pramono Anung expressed his appreciation to the City Council for the synergy that had been established in the discussion of changes to the City Budget.
"On behalf of the entire executive team, I would like to express my gratitude and highest appreciation to the leadership and all members of the council for their approval of the Regional Regulation on Amendments to the 2025 City Budget," he said.
He hopes that with the ratification of this budget amendment, Jakarta's economy will continue to grow in 2025, and all programs and activities will be implemented as planned.
